At BeSafe we have a long experience of developing and testing safety seats. Our goal is but one: to manufacture a seat that is as safe as possible. There are of course other factors in play when it comes to your childís safety. This is why we have published this information on our website.
We incorporate the safety aspect into the development of all out seats, step by step. In a collision, the force should be reduced and at the same time be lead away from the child, into the chassis via the seat. With safety as our guiding star, we are proud of the good result our seats show, time and time again.
Seats fit differently in different car models. Always bring both car and child when shopping for a safety seat. Let a member of the sales staff help you choose the right seat for your needs and fit it in your car.
Never buy a pre-owned safety seat if you are not fully aware of its history and what events its been through. If a seat has been involved in a collision the safety features might not work any longer. If you buy a pre-owned seat, make sure that it is tested and approved according to ECE-standards and that it comes with a manual.
h2>Safety seats and an active air bag is a death trapRearward facing seats must never be placed in front of an active airbag. We do not recommend installing a forward facing seat in front of an active airbag if the child travelling in it is shorter than 140 cm.
